The Best Ways to Get Around Benidorm On Your Holiday

0

The beauty of Benidorm is that it is neither too big nor too small, it is bustling with vibrant neighbourhoods but at the same time you can be in picturesque hills with stunning views in no time at all. To prepare yourself once you arrive in Benidorm below are a few of the most convenient ways to get around while on your holiday.

Walking

The cheapest way to get around Benidorm on your holiday is on foot. If you enjoy walking then you are going to have no trouble in finding your way around, and if you like to get intentionally lost when exploring new places then travelling around on foot is just for you.

The Blue Flag beaches of Poniente and Levante, for instance, are each within easy walking distance of the city centre. The expansive Parque Natural de la Serra Gelada is adjacent to the latter, while another green oasis, Parque de l’Aigüera, is just a short stroll away from the heart of the city.

Two wheels

Another great way to get around Benidorm on your holiday is on two wheels, either on a bike or if you are feeling more adventurous, a scooter. Alicante is an ideal part of Benidorm to cycle around and there are plenty of cycle hire outlets situated around the city with very affordable rental prices. Doing so will give you the freedom to explore areas that you might otherwise not be able to get too on foot.

Benidorm’s cycle transport system is becoming more popular with tourists particularly on days when the weather is good. There are miles of cycle paths throughout the town making it a safe option of travel and this service is in operation all year round – you can even purchase tickets to use monthly or annually.

Four wheels

Moving up from two wheels the other way to get around Benidorm is via bus or car. Benidorm has an extensive bus network that will enable you to get around the city. You also have the option to explore other parts of the Costa Blanca if you purchase a season ticket which is great value for money. The options generally range from a 24-hour ticket to 30 days’ unlimited travel.

Benidorm also offers car hire at affordable rates and with many car rental companies being located at the airport you can make a seamless transition from collecting your bags to exploring everything Benidorm has to offer. For more tips and advice why not check out our blog here.
